ESL Lesson Course Design

Objective

It's more important than ever to be able to adapt to different teaching formats. In this case study, I adapted an ESL lesson plan to a hybrid lesson following the Present, Practice, Production (PPP) method.

Problems
  1. Original lesson plan is written for the teacher
  2. Original lesson plan was for an in-person class
  3. Original lesson plan includes speaking practice
     
Solutions
  1.  To address problems 1 & 2 I utilized interactive and knowledge check features
  2. To address problem 3 I created the lesson as part of a hybrid course
